The UFC’s Dana White Contender Series will resume on Tuesday after almost a year off.

The showcase has served as a springboard for many UFC fighters, including Sean O’Malley, Alonzo Menifield, Augusto Sakai, Thiago Moises, Adrian Yanez and others.

The eight fighters on Tuesday’s slate will be competing for a potential UFC contract.

Dana White Contender Series Odds

Leonardo Damiani vs. A.J. Fletcher

Fighter Odds
Leonardo Damiani +145
A.J. Fletcher -165

Damiani is 10-2-1 overall and has won his last four fights. The Italian has notched submissions in six of his 10 victories and he’ll be gunning for the grappling finish tonight, too.

Fletcher has gone an undefeated 8-0 over his career and has finished in seven of those eight wins. His last four fights have ended in first round submissions.

On offshore books, the total on rounds is 2.5, with -115 for the under and -105 on the over.

Diego Lopes vs. Joanderson Brito

Fight time: 8:30 ET.

Odds are according to DraftKings as of Tuesday night

Fighter Odds
Diego Lopes -110
Joanderson Brito -110

These two fighters are on incredibly equal footing. Lopes has won his last nine fights since 2017 while Brito has gone 16-1, but both fighters each started off their careers on shaky ground.

While Brito failed to win three of his first five fights, Lopes went 3-2 in his. Since then, though, both fighters have dominated and both deserve a spot in the UFC.

On offshore books, the over/under on this one is 1.5 rounds, with -110 juice on both the over and under.

Six of Brito’s last 10 fights have finished within 1.5 rounds while 14 of Lopes’ 18 wins have occurred within the same timeframe.

Azamat Murzakanov vs. Matheus Scheffel

Fight time: 9:00 ET.

Odds are according to DraftKings as of Tuesday night

Fighter Odds
Azamat Murzakanov -575
Matheus Scheffel +410

The most notable name on the card is Azamat Murzakanov, who had signed with the UFC in 2017 before being hit with a two-year doping ban.

Murzakanov is 9-0 in his career with six first-round knockouts, but he hasn’t fought since November 2019.

Scheffel also hasn’t fought in a while, though. His last bout was in Oct. 2019, when he won with a first-round TKO. While Scheffel is the more experienced fighter, he lacks in almost every striking and grappling department compared to Murzakanov.

On offshore books, the over/under on rounds is 1.5, with the under at -185 juice and the over at +155.

Carlos Candelario vs. Victor Altamirano

Odds are according to DraftKings as of Tuesday night

Fighter Odds
Carlos Candelario +135
Victor Altamirano -155

The last fight on the docket pits the 8-0 Carlos Candelario with the 9-1 Victor Altamirano.

Candelario had previously won a match on the Contender Series in 2017 but tore his ACL in that bout. He was forced to take a four year hiatus as a result, but returned earlier this month with a unanimous decision victory in the LFA.

Altamirano’s only loss came from a second round submission, but he has also dished out four submission finishes of his own. Meanwhile, three of Candelario’s eight victories have come via grappling.

The two fighters have almost the same height and weight, with Altamirano at 5-foot-6 weighing 125 pounds and Candelario at 5-foot-7 weighing 125 pounds. Both are 30-years-old.

On offshore books, the total on rounds sits at 2.5, with juice of -210 on the over and +185 odds on the under.
