How the No. 5 Ravens Reached Wild Card Weekend
Baltimore raced out to a 5-1 record even with Lamar Jackson looking less than his MVP self early on. The Ravens responded to a Week 8 loss with a 24-10 win over the Colts. But three losses in a row and a 6-5 record had Baltimore bettors asking what went wrong.
Jackson missed one of those games, though, and the schedule softened at the right time: The Ravens are riding a five-win streak after taking down the Cowboys, Browns, Jaguars, Giants and Bengals.
Baltimore won on Sunday to finish 11-5, but eight of those wins were against teams with losing records. Their only wins against winning teams were twice against the Browns and that Week 9 victory against the Colts, and Baltimore finished under its preseason win total of 11.5.
