Two clubs who would expect to be higher up in the table will meet at Molineux in one of the two early Premier League kickoffs on Tuesday.
Wolves, the home team, are currently 14th following their 1-0 loss at Crystal Palace on Saturday. Arsenal, the visitors, are 10th after their scoreless draw at home against Manchester United on the same day.
Here’s a closer look at the two clubs, and a prediction for Tuesday’s match.
Wolves
Not only did Wolves fail to score against Crystal Palace, but they managed just six shots, with a paltry xG (expected goals) total of 0.4. And it was their second scoreless outing in a row, following a 0-0 draw at Chelsea last Wednesday — another match in which they generated just 0.4 xG.
Wolves are winless in their past eight Premier League matches — five defeats, three draws. They look toothless without forward Raul Jimenez, who remains out due to injury.

Arsenal
The Arsenal-Manchester United match was relatively exciting for a scoreless draw, including 31 total shots and 2.6 expected goals. Arsenal had 17 of those shots, but only three of them were on target, and they came up on the short end of the xG stick, at 1.1.
It’s been a good stretch for the Gunners, who have now gone seven league games without a defeat, including five wins and two draws.
However, they may be without star forward and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, plus Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney.

Those are three important players, particularly Aubameyang is tied for second on the team with Saka in goals scored.
Betting Analysis & Picks
Wolves won 2-1 at Arsenal back on Nov. 29, but that game is better remembered for Jimenez’s gruesome head injury. And his team have won only one league match since.
That being said, I don’t trust Arsenal, despite their recent run of form. Their past four wins came against Southampton, Newcastle, West Brom and Brighton, and it appears likely they’ll be missing some key attackers.
I expect this to be a low-scoring affair, but I don’t love having to pay around -150 for under 2.5 goals. Instead, I’ll say at least one team won’t score, at a better price.
