Bettors who bet on No. 7 Oregon vs. No. 10 VCU were refunded their money on Saturday night after the game was ruled a no contest when the Commodores had to pull out because of COVID-19 issues.

While bettors at online books like BetMGM, FanDuel and PointsBet and at Las Vegas-based books like the Superbook got their money back for the game, any futures on VCU to win the title were graded as a loser.

BetMGM saw 60% of the tickets and 70% of the money come in on Oregon (-5).

BetMGM said that 0.2% of tickets for national-championship futures since the bracket was announced were on VCU to win it all.

No specifics are known about who was infected on VCU and how many people were affected. In a statement, the NCAA simply said the game had to be declared a no contest.
