NBA Injury News

The Orlando Magic have an extensive injury list with three key players — Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross — listed as questionable ahead of Thursday’s game against the New York Knicks.

Fournier has been unavailable for four games over the past two weeks, Gordon missed the past two games for left ankle injury management and Ross missed their first two games coming out of the break before returning last Sunday.

Fournier and Gordon practiced on Wednesday, and head coach Steve Clifford said the team will see how they feel before the game before determining their availability.

On the other side of the matchup, the Knicks are very thin at guard with Derrick Rose out due to health and safety protocols and Elfrid Payton nursing a hamstring injury. Rookie point guard Immanuel Quickley is also questionable ahead of Thursday’s game. Quickley has started the Knicks’ past three games and recently recovered from a sore groin before injuring his ankle during Tuesday’s game.

The Utah Jazz announced that Conley will rest Thursday in their road matchup against the Washington Wizards on the front end of a back-to-back. Conley also rested in their most recent back-to-back and is expected to play on Friday.
