NBA Injury News

Michael Porter Jr. is questionable for Game 2 on Wednesday with a tight lower back. Porter Jr. tweaked his back during the second quarter of Game 1 and played the second half with a significant wrap around his core and back.

He wasn’t on the court to close the game because of the injury, but Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone expects him to be good to go.

Will Barton is doubtful to play in Game 2 as he continues to deal with a strained hamstring but appears to be making strides after sitting out the past 20 games.

Though it doesn’t appear like he’s ready for game action quite yet, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him cleared in time for Game 3 after Malone said Barton had “another really good day” on Tuesday.
