NBA Injury News

Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss Game 5 against the Utah Jazz after suffering a knee injury in Game 4, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. Leonard’s status for rest of series is up in the air.

Joel Embiid is questionable ahead of Game 5 with his meniscus injury. He has played in the first four games of the second round, but he appeared to be laboring in the loss on Monday after heading to the locker room for treatment.

Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers stated there is no additional concern regarding Embiid’s knee and the team wouldn’t jeopardize playing him if he was unable. We should expect Embiid to be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Trae Young is considered probable in advance of Game 5 on Wednesday as he continues to deal with a sore shoulder. Young had it heavily wrapped when he was on the bench, but played through the game despite the discomfort.

Mike Conley is once again questionable ahead of Game 5 on Wednesday. He has missed the first four games of the second-round series, and he was ruled out mid-day of each game day after originally being listed questionable due to a strained hamstring he suffered in the first round. Joe Ingles has been starting with Conley unavailable, and head coach Quin Snyder has added Miye Oni in doses to the nine-man rotation.
