The Nationals’ mascot did not pitch Wednesday in an exhibition vs. the Cardinals, but it may have seemed like it, after Anibal Sanchez and Cade Cavalli allowed 10 runs each as St. Louis cruised to a 29-8 win over Washington in West Palm Beach, Florida.
