The Cardinals look to bounce back on Monday when they take on the Reds in Cincinnati. St. Louis split a four-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates over the weekend. The Reds are also in need of some positive energy, as they are coming off of a series loss to the woeful Miami Marlins.

With these two pitchers both coming in throwing well, there is a solid mix of factors here that lead to value on the total.
The Reds offense has a decent amount of pop, while the Cardinals’ offense has been uninspiring overall. Nonetheless, the Cardinals exploded for a whopping 13 runs on Saturday (August 28) in a win over the Pirates, showing that they can score in bunches on occasion.
