The Missouri Tigers take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament on Friday night. The Tigers have won three of their past five games, including an extremely narrow 73-70 win over the Georgia Bulldogs on Thursday.
The Tigers’ defense was solid Thursday, and Mizzou did an impressive job of cleaning the glass on both sides of the court. They will need another physical and concerted effort to take down an Arkansas team that has an excellent offense.
The Razorbacks have won eight-straight games, including a contest in which they put up 101 points on South Carolina.
Freshman Moses Moody — whose NBA Draft stock is steadily rising with each performance — has scored 20-plus points in three of his past four games. Moody is flanked by talented shooters throughout the rotation, and he and his teammates have the ability to get hot from deep.
