Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has improved each season he’s been in the NFL and there’s no reason why he can’t this year, too.

After he threw for over 3,700 yards with 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions during his rookie 2019 campaign, Murray tossed almost 4,000 yards in 2020 with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

The 24-year-old also ran for 819 yards with 11 touchdowns last season — a marked improvement over his rookie year numbers. Those stats were good for the second-most rush yards and rush touchdowns by a quarterback in 2020.

Murray’s player prop this season on rushing yards is just 650.5 yards at FanDuel. The over on that total has about 86% of the total money at the sportsbook while the under has just about 14%.

It’s the third-most bet on rushing yard total at FanDuel, behind Jalen Hurts (625.5 yds) and Javonte Williams (775.5 yds).

The quarterback’s odds at FanDuel to have the most rushing yards out of every player in the NFL are +15000, tied with Melvin Gordon, who is set to be the Denver Broncos’ starting running back. Murray has the second-shortest odds on that line for a quarterback — behind Lamar Jackson.

The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft finished 13th in passing yards and 14th in passing touchdowns out of all starting quarterbacks last season.

His odds to top the passing yards list this season are +4100 at FanDuel, good for 14th in the NFL.

Murray’s odds to top the season’s passing touchdowns list is +3800 at the sportsbook, tied for 15th in the league.
