New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder will not suit up Sunday for the Week 2 contest against the New England Patriots.

He missed the opener against the Carolina Panthers while on the COVID-19 list and was a limited participant the last few days at practice, sidelined by a groin injury.

The Jets are 6-point home underdogs at DraftKings, with a total of 43. Money has been pouring in on New England, which opened -3.5.

No Jets wide receiver crossed the 700-yard threshold last season, but Crowder was the closest. The Duke product registered 699 yards on 59 receptions alongside six touchdowns, all team highs.

New York’s offense was stagnant in the opener behind rookie Zach Wilson, losing, 19-14, and ultimately failing to cover as a 3.5-point underdog.

The Jets have struggled recently against the Pats, covering just two of the last seven meetings. Plus, Wilson and Co. face head coach Bill Belichick, who’s 21-6 overall against rookie signal-callers in his career.

New York’s 150-1 odds to win the Super Bowl are the third-longest in the NFL.

Look for wide receiver Corey Davis to pick up the slack with Crowder out of the fold again. The former Titan receiver collected five catches for a game-high 97 yards last week, along with two scores. Fellow receiver Braxton Berrios also caught five passes from Wilson, picking up 51 yards in the process.
