The Los Angeles Clippers finally played like the team everyone expected to see heading into the 2021 NBA postseason.

The Clips got 30+ points from stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in their Game 3 win over the Utah Jazz, and Los Angeles is nearly unstoppable when both of those players get going on offense.

Utah still managed to continue their incredible onslaught from 3-point range in the loss. The Jazz went 19-44 from 3-point range (43.2%) but their defense had no answers for this version of the Leonard-George duo.

Los Angeles also got a combined 10 assists from Leonard and George, which helped less heralded players like Nic Batum score efficiently. The effect of George and Leonard on the “others” was particularly noticeable from the 3-point line, where the Clippers shot a red-hot 52.8% as a team.

Heading into Game 4, it is clear that wiseguys are expecting a bit of a regression to the mean in terms of shooting percentages.

This means that while both teams could still play relatively well, we are not likely to see back-to-back games where a team hits over 130 points, making the under an intriguing play on Monday night.

Let’s take a look in our latest PRO Report.

NBA Picks: Jazz vs. Clippers

Sharp Action

The total for Game 4 of Jazz-Clippers opened up at 223.5. This represents a slight uptick in offensive expectations, as Game 3 in Los Angeles opened up at 223.

Since Sunday night, there have been two Action Labs Bet Signals triggered on the under. This is a sign of wise guys expecting a more defensive-oriented matchup in Game 4.

Big Money

At the time of this writing, the 34% of bettors backing the under have generated a whopping 96% of the money wagered on Monday’s matchup.

That 62% difference is a sign that the biggest bets — the ones likely being made by sharp bettors — are being placed on the under.

PRO Report Pick: Under 223.5 (+100 at PointsBet)
