The Loyola Chicago Ramblers have the clear distinction of being the most underseeded team in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The Ramblers went 24-4 overall and absolutely dominated their conference, with their two conference losses coming to the offensively impressive Drake squad and Indiana State.

Loyola Chicago should be favored against the Yellow Jackets, who have some impressive individual talent but are nowhere near the cohesive unit that Loyola is under head coach Porter Moser.

Georgia Tech has won eight games in a row but has had two games canceled within that same stretch, including a big-time matchup with ACC Tournament No. 1 seed Virginia, who were subsequently eliminated for a positive COVID-19 test.

Yellow Jackets head coach Josh Pastner, signature face shield and all, is an excellent motivator who gets the most out of his offensively potent team. Georgia Tech has a top-25 offense but is dealing with a Loyola team that has the third-ranked Adjusted Defensive Efficiency, per KenPom.

In a matchup of strength vs. strength, our PRO Report suggests the big bucks are backing the Ramblers to take care of business on Friday. Let’s take a look.
