Thursday’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship West Region First Four matchup between the Drake Bulldogs and Wichita State Shockers will be an intriguing meeting of teams that had excellent seasons within their respective conferences.
At their peak, Drake was debatably as good as Missouri Valley Conference Champion Loyola Chicago. The Bulldogs finished the season at 25-4, with two of their losses coming against the aforementioned Ramblers.
