The Euro 2020 Group Stage match between Denmark and Finland was suspended just before halftime after Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed.

In a scary moment, Denmark’s Eriksen fell to the ground untouched. Teammates quickly attended to him and called medical professionals over to help. As the clock ticked toward halftime, players surrounded Eriksen, 29, on the ground to create a shield as he received chest compressions.

UEFA then announced the match would be officially suspended as Eriksen was carried off on a stretcher with players and flags providing privacy.

The match was scoreless at the time.
