The Louisville Cardinals host the UCF Knights in the early Friday college football game before Maryland takes on Illinois in the night cap. Bettors are dialing in on both totals for the two-game slate, though they’re headed opposite directions.

Louisville-UCF opened at 69.5 at UniBet, but it has plummeted down to 67.

Meanwhile, the public is expecting a track meet between the Terrapins and Fighting Illini, pushing the total up from 59.5 to 61.5.

The Cardinals-Knights tilt has seen some sharp money come in on the total. Although 54% of the tickets are on the over, 85% of the money is flooding in on the under.

Louisville’s gone under the total in both games this season. The opener against Ole Miss felt short by a touchdown, while last week’s 30-3 victory over Eastern Kentucky didn’t sniff 62.5.

Meanwhile, Central Florida is 2-0 in favor of the under this fall. Dating back to 2019, the Knights are 7-0 to the over in September games.

The Maryland-Illinois total has seen 56% of the tickets on the over, but 67% of the overall handle is on the under.

The Terps are 2-0. They went under in Week 1 against West Virginia, then hit over the total (56) themselves in a 62-point rout of Howard last Saturday.

Illinois has played three games in 2021, recording one over, one under and an additional push.

Maryland’s ripped off four straight unders away from home and six of the last seven against Big Ten opponents.

Meanwhile, the Fighting Illini are 5-1 to the under, the last six following a straight-up loss.
