This morning I touched on how early action from sharp bettors was landing on tonight’s Creighton-St. John’s over. And well, that sure changed quickly.
After reaching its high-water mark of 161.5, the total was sent the opposite direction thanks to some sharp buyback. And now that the total seems to have settled in the upper-150s, the pros have turned their attention to the spread.

Most bettors are rolling with the ninth-ranked team in the country, but sharps have been seeing this game differently.

An open-to-current line move of 5.5 to 6.5 might suggest sharp action on the favorite, but in this case that move doesn’t tell the whole story. That’s because it wasn’t until the line reached 7.5 that sharps really made their move.
