Clemson and Ohio State get the primetime spot on New Year’s Day, with a berth in the College Football Playoff national championship game on the line.
The Tigers have been favored all week by either 7 or 7.5 points in a rematch of last year’s college football semifinal. If you’re unsure of a side, player props are always an option.

Lawrence’s total is notably higher than it was in the ACC Championship game against a vaunted Notre Dame defense. He finished that game with 322 yards, just shy of his 328.5 prop. Lawrence cleared 345.5 yards on three occasions this season. He threw for 259 yards against Ohio State last season.
Fields’ number is in line with the Big Ten championship game, where his total was set at 262.5 yards. However, he underwhelmed with 119 yards, marking his second consecutive game with less than 200 yards passing.
He topped 260 yards in his four other games this season. Fields also threw for 324 yards in the loss to Clemson last year.

Etienne was held to just 36 yards against Ohio State last season, but is coming off one of his best performances of the year. He ran for 124 yards and a touchdown against Notre Dame in the ACC Championship. That effort came after the Fighting Irish limited him to 28 yards in the first meeting.
Ohio Stave gave up 224 yards on 24 carries against Northwestern in the Big Ten title game. Sermon ran wild against the Wildcats for 331 yards on 29 carries. It was one of two games this year where he had more than 68 yards on the ground.
While Fields threw for big yards last year against the Buckeyes, he was stuffed on the ground with 13 yards on 14 carries. Lawrence ran for 107 yards that game.

With a total of 68, plenty of yards and points are expected. Leading the way is Ohio State’s pair of All-Conference receivers. Chris Olave is averaging 105.6 yards per game, but sat out the Big Ten title game due to COVID-19 protocol. Just once Olave failed to reach 100 yards this season in five games.
Wilson started the year with four consecutive 100-yard games, but has been held to 59 and 49 yards in his last two games.
Amari Rodgers had just one catch for 38 yards against Ohio State last year, but the Clemson receiver has put up big numbers. He had one game with at least 100 yards last season; he’s reached that number three times this season.
Powell has emerged as a key receiver, putting up big numbers since Halloween when he caught 11 balls for 105 yards against Boston College. He followed that up with 161 and 176 yards after not topping 50 yards this year before then.
