The betting odds between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots in Tom Brady’s return to Foxboro keep moving and won’t stop until someone bets on the underdog.
So far, it doesn’t seem like anyone wants to do such a thing.
As of Monday afternoon, Brady’s Bucs are as high as 7-point road favorites against Bill Belichick’s new-look Pats. That’s up more than four points from an opening number of -3 in July at BetMGM. It’s up 1.5 points from the consensus number on Sunday of 5.5.

Even with a spread up to 7, the next big bet to come in on New England will be the first.
Roughly 95% of bets and dollars at PointsBet are on the Bucs at 6.5. It’s 90% on Tampa Bay for moneyline wagers. FanDuel has taken a $30,000 bet on Tampa Bay -6.5.
The Action Network has tracked more than 10,000 bets with 98% coming in on the Buccaneers.
Those interested in the Patriots perhaps know they can wait as this line is trending up. Sitting in the primetime standalone spot on Sunday Night Football, it seems likely this will be the most-bet game of the day.
Both teams are coming off losses, with Tampa Bay traveling across the country from a defeat against the Los Angeles Rams to New England. The Patriots dropped a home game in Week 3 to the New Orleans Saints.
The Buccaneers are tied with the Arizona Cardinals for the most points scored through three weeks (103). That’s almost double the 54 points the Patriots have scored this season with rookie Mac Jones under center.
