DraftKings is the only major American sportsbook that has the Coyotes listed with the worst odds.
BetMGM has the Coyotes at 150/1 — tied with the Ducks, Red Wings and Senators but with shorter odds than the Sabres, which are listed at 200/1.
At PointsBet, the Coyotes are also 150/1 along with the Ducks, but the Red Wings (200/1) and Sabres (250/1) each have longer odds.
FanDuel lists the Blue Jackets and Sabres as longer than the Coyotes in their chances to lift the Stanley Cup next season.
The Tampa Bay Lightning don’t have the best odds to lift the trophy at any of the aforementioned sportsbooks despite being back-to-back champions.
The Lightning are behind the Colorado Avalanche at every book. Tampa is +700 behind the Avalanche’s +600 at BetMGM; +700 to the Avalanche’s +525 at PointsBet; and +600 to Colorado’s +550 at FanDuel.
The Avalanche lost in the second round to the Vegas Golden Knights last season but finished with the best offense in the NHL.
Bookmakers and the public seem to think that offensive prowess will continue come fall.
The Golden Knights have the third-best odds at DraftKings. FanDuel and BetMGM. Vegas is tied with Tampa for the second-shortest odds at PointsBet.
