The 2021 NBA Summer League concludes on Tuesday night with bettors expecting the favored Boston Celtics to top the Sacramento Kings in the final.

Boston opened as a 2.5-point favorite over the Kings at BetMGM, but with so much action on the Celtics, the line has grown to 5. Over 80 percent of bets and dollars are on Boston.

The finale is a meeting between two relative longshots. Boston entered the Summer League at +2000 behind the likes of the Knicks, Grizzlies, Pistons and Magic, among others. However, over time, Boston has taken more bets to win than any other team.

The Kings were even bigger underdogs entering play at +4000. Sacramento is 7th in bets taken to win, but only the Pistons took more money to win it all at BetMGM.

The total for the game is set at 172.5 and has not moved with early indications signaling more bets and money are coming in on the over.

Boston has relied on guards Payton Pritchard and Aaron Nesmith. Both rank in the top-20 in points per game. Pritchard is averaging 20.3 points per game with Nesmith adding 18.8. Other players with NBA experience on the roster include Bruno Fernando, Romeo Langford and Carsen Edwards.

Rookie Davion Mitchell is averaging 11 points and 5.5 assists in four games for the Kings. They’ll be without big man Chimezie Metu, who was suspended for throwing a punch. The third-year player out of USC was the most experienced player on Sacramento’s roster.
