After coming off of an unexpected Champions League victory — and with the impending addition of striker Romelu Lukaku — Chelsea have the most bets and dollars on them to win the 2021-22 English Premier League at one sportsbook.

The Blues at +500 have 32.4% of the total money at BetMGM as of Aug. 9 on them to win the Premier League.

Manchester United have the second-most amount of money with 28.7%. United added winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for just under $100 million and are at the 1-yard-line on a transfer for Real Madrid center back Raphael Varane. Their odds sit at +750 as of Monday afternoon.

Watford +100000 0.0%
Newcastle +25000 0.0%
Brentford +50000 0.0%
Burnley +50000 0.0%

Weirdly enough, Aston Villa — now without Jack Grealish, who went to Manchester City on a $139 million transfer — have the seventh-most money with 2%.

City are also vying for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, whose addition would make them even sturdier favorites than their current -150 mark indicates, said Darren Darby, a sports trader at BetMGM.

The Cityzens have just 6.1% of the total money due in large part to their substantial juice. City are competing for their fourth Premier League title in five seasons.

Newly promoted Norwich City, Watford and Brentford have a combined 0.0% of the money to win it all. No team has ever won the Premier League following promotion.

In terms of total tickets, Chelsea lead the pack with over 29% of the total bets. United trail with 21.7% of the bets while Liverpool (12.2%) and Arsenal (10%) are the only other clubs to hold a double-digit percentage in tickets.

Norwich City +100000 0.4%
Wolves +25000 0.4%

Brighton +25000 0.4%
Newcastle +25000 0.0%
Brentford +50000 0.0%
Burnley +50000 0.0%

Villa charts high again with 4% of the total bets, though it’s unclear how many of those bets were made before or after the news of Grealish’s record transfer.

And though Watford and Norwich City made up 0.0% of the money, they collectively make up almost 1% of the total bets. A $100 flier on either club at 1000/1 would, of course, net you $100,000.
