Thursday night, NBA fans will get to see LeBron James and the Lakers fighting to stave off elimination at the hands of the Phoenix Suns in Los Angeles. The Lakers, playing without Anthony Davis, scored a paltry 85 points in a 30-point drubbing by the Suns in Game 5.

Heading into Game 6, Davis is about as big of a question mark as there can be and is currently listed as a “game-time decision.”

Without Davis’ production, Markieff Morris would be depended on for a bit more offensive production. Frank Vogel has been unable to depend on reliable offensive contributions from anyone on the roster not named LeBron.

Safe to say, if Davis doesn’t suit up on Thursday, things will look a bit bleaker as far as L.A.’s Game 6 outlook goes.

Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and DeAndre Ayton have played with great intensity on both sides of the ball all series long.

Another great defensive effort from Monty Williams’ Suns could end the Lakers’ season on Thursday. In a series that has been an absolute slog, Phoenix has been the more comfortable team.

So far in this series, the Lakers have failed to crack 100 points three times, and the Suns have failed to get past the century mark once.

Despite the defensive nature of this series resulting in games hitting the under three times, our latest PRO Report shows that sharp bettors are expecting the Lakers to bring a better scoring performance to the Staples Center, even if it doesn’t necessarily result in a victory.  Let’s take a look.

NBA Picks: Suns vs. Lakers
