The Houston Texans dominated in a 37-21 win over Trevor Lawrence, Urban Meyer and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Week 1 win means that just roughly 5% of the way through the season, the Texans are already 25% of the way through their win total, which closed at four wins (-110) Sunday at DraftKings.

Houston owned the lowest win total in the NFL entering the year, just ahead of the Lions (4.5).

The Texans were +200 favorites to finish the season as the team with the fewest amount of wins at FanDuel.

Houston also had +2000 odds at both DraftKings and PointsBet to go winless in the 2021-22 NFL season.

Last season’s starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is likely out for the season as a result of almost two dozen active sexual assault lawsuits.

Watson and his attorney Rusty Hardin have denied the allegations.

Tyrod Taylor is now Houston’s starting quarterback and threw for 291 yards with two touchdowns while going 21-for-33 in their commanding victory.

Still, the Texans opened as 12-point underdogs for their game at the Cleveland Browns next week.

The Browns narrowly lost to the two-time defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs 33-29 on Sunday despite being up 22-10 at halftime.

Houston’s moneyline at DraftKings for next Sunday’s game is +650.
