Sunday’s NBA Injury News

The Denver Nuggets are monitoring Jamal Murray ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Per our NBA Insiders tool:

Murray is questionable for Sunday’s game due to a sprained ankle he suffered in Friday’s win. Will Barton (personal), Gary Harris (adductor), and PJ Dozier (hamstring) have been ruled out. The Nuggets will be extremely thin if Murray has to miss time as they’re already down three wing players. RJ Hampton would see the biggest bump in minutes in that case, with Monte Morris likely to step into the starting lineup and Facundo Campazzo serving as his backup.

On the other side of that matchup, Anthony Davis, who has dealt with a number of nagging injuries this season, is also listed as questionable. Davis returned to the lineup Friday after missing the previous two due to Achilles soreness.

De’Aaron Fox is listed as questionable after getting sitting out the Sacramento Kings’ Friday loss with a bruised knee.  If Fox can’t play, expect rookie Tyrese Haliburton, who compiled a team-high seven assists in that game, to start again.
