The good news for Sunday’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway? It should be cool in Loudon, N.H., which is where the track is located.

The bad news? Despite high temperatures in the low 70s, it could be very wet.

For the most part, the NASCAR Cup Series has been very fortunate this season when it comes to rainy weather, however, that appears likely to change based on the latest forecast.

Let’s take a detailed look at the updated NASCAR at New Hampshire weather forecast, including the chances of rain on both Sunday and Monday.

NASCAR at New Hampshire Weather Forecast

According to the National Weather Service, the latest NASCAR at New Hampshire weather forecast is calling for a 90% chance of rain on Sunday, suggesting that there is a good chance we’ll see delays for today’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301.

In fact, some of the storms could produce heavy rain as well.

And should NASCAR find a window dry enough to start the race on Sunday, it might be a tight one considering that New Hampshire Motor Speedway does not have lights.

Should the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 ultimately get postponed until Monday, NASCAR might have to dodge rainy weather for the second straight day.

Monday’s Loudon weather forecast is calling for a 40% chance of rain throughout the entire day, which could be tricky if NASCAR can’t get the track dry for a long enough period to run 151 laps.

Per NASCAR’s rulebook, a race becomes official at the halfway mark and Sunday’s event is scheduled for 301 laps, weather permitting.

According to updated NASCAR at New Hampshire odds, Denny Hamlin is the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 betting favorite, followed by Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Larson.
