Gonzaga Bulldogs

O/U: 33.5 (including postseason)

The Bulldogs nearly went undefeated last season, finishing 31-1 after losing to Baylor in the national championship game.

In 2021, the Bulldogs will return Wooden Award candidate Drew Timme and star point guard Andrew Nembhard, while reloading the remainder of their roster with a top-three recruiting class that includes the No. 1 recruit, center Chet Holmgren.

Gonzaga is currently the favorite to win the national title (+800) at WynnBET.

UCLA Bruins

O/U: 31 (including postseason)

Following their magical Final Four run, Mick Cronin & Co. return a majority of their roster, including breakout star Johnny Juzang.

Add in the always steady Tyger Campbell, the versatile Jaime Jaquez Jr. and big man Cody Riley, and the Bruins have one of the most experienced units in the country.

UCLA is a heavy favorite to capture the Pac-12 (+100) at WynnBET, but Oregon and USC represent challenges.

Michigan Wolverines

O/U: 27.5 (including postseason)

While the Wolverines lost Isaiah Livers and Franz Wagner, they’ll return Big Ten Freshman of the Year Hunter Dickinson and sharp-shooter Eli Brooks.

Juwan Howard didn’t stop there, though. The third-year head coach did some serious work on the recruiting and transfer trail, adding the No. 1 class and poaching Coastal Carolina’s DeVante’ Jones to run point.

Memphis Tigers

O/U: 33 (including postseason)

The top high school basketball prospect Emoni Bates reclassified to 2021 and committed to Memphis. Five-star center Jalen Duren also reclassified and joined the Tigers’ roster.

That’s all you need to know about the hype and potential of Penny Hardaway and the Tigers.

Considered one of the most talented rosters in the country, Hardaway will combine future pros (Bates and Duran) with seasoned returnees in DeAndre Williams, Lester Quinones and Landers Nolley II, along with multiple intriguing transfers.

Kansas Jayhawks

O/U: 29.5 (including postseason)

With Marcus Garrett graduating and Kansas’ ball-handling duties up in the air, Bill Self dipped into the transfer portal, snagging two speedy guards in Arizona State’s Remy Martin and Drake’s Joseph Yesufu.

The Jayhawks also have a solid core returning to Lawrence as Jalen Wilson, Ochai Agbaji and David McCormack are back.

Duke Blue Devils

O/U: 27.5 (including postseason)

After missing out on the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1995 last year and Coach K announcing that this will be his final season on the sideline, it’s fair to say this is a pretty significant campaign for Duke.

Paolo Banchero and A.J. Griffin head up a stacked recruiting class, but also keep an eye on returning center Mark Williams, who’s on nearly every list of breakout candidates.

Villanova Wildcats

O/U: 27.5 (including postseason)

The Wildcats are the class of the Big East.

Jay Wright lost starting point guard Collin Gillespie to a season-ending injury last year before the NCAA Tournament, and Villanova still reached the Sweet 16.

This season, Gillespie and Jermaine Samuels used the fifth-year eligibility option granted by the NCAA to all student-athletes due to the coronavirus pandemic and will return as leaders of the roster.

Texas Longhorns

O/U: 27 (including postseason)

Shaka Smart is no longer in the fold in Austin, but Chris Beard enters the picture with two veteran guards back — Andrew Jones and Courtney Ramey — and six crucial transfers joining the program.

Purdue Boilermakers

O/U: 26.5 (including postseason)

First-team 2020 All-Big Ten honoree and 2021 conference player of the year candidate Trevion Williams is back to anchor a monstrous frontcourt that also features Zach Edey.

Kentucky Wildcats

O/U: 26.5 (including postseason)

Like Duke, Kentucky missed the NCAA Tournament last season in a rare occurrence. John Calipari clearly was unhappy with the direction of his team as he approached this offseason differently by reloading via the transfer market.

Davidson’s Kellan Grady, West Virginia’s Oscar Tshiebwe and Georgia’s Sahvir Wheeler join five-star freshman TyTy Washington and a couple of key returnees.
