As enjoyable a weekend as you may have had indulging in the 2021 Ryder Cup, it likely doesn’t hold a candle to this 12-leg parlay one bettor locked up at FanDuel Sportsbook.
An $8 ticket nearly netted $1 million, headlined by not one, but two ties at +550 or better.
This is the sports bet of the year.

Every long shot requires a little luck, this ticket included.
The bet needed wins by Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Daniel Berger, Dustin Johnson, Lee Westwood, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter, Patrick Cantlay and Scottie Scheffler.
But it also needed ties between Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland and one from the matchup between Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood.
Spieth and Fleetwood entered the final hole tied in a fierce back-and-forth down the back nine. With the Americans already having the win in the bag, both players conceded gimme putts, which resulted in a tie.

The bettor also earned a big win from Scheffler (+230), who dismantled No. 1-ranked Jon Rahm in a big-time upset.
Meanwhile, Morikawa missed a 10-foot putt on the 18th that left him in a tie with Hovland. The 24-year-old from Southern California — who was the youngest American representative — did enough earlier in the 17th hole by sinking a difficult birdie.
Morikawa’s performance officially gave the Americans the victory over the Europeans on the final day of the tournament.
Europe had previously won four out of the last five Ryder Cups before the Americans emerged victorious on Sunday.
The person who made the bet did not wish to be identified, a FanDuel representative told The Action Network’s Darren Rovell.
